I wonder how many antis would also oppose providing supervised injections, sterile needles, and overdose medication to drug users in order to reduce harm? I would guess quite a few. Kinda a similar idea – if it’s aimed at reducing harm for everyone immediately rather than aiming at ensuring that the Bad People are Suffering as much as possible, they’re probably not on board.
This is the same kind of reasoning that opposes safe sex, isn’t it?
